Mrs. Mary D. Noble, 104, of Lake Hopatcong passed away Tuesday, March 16th, 2010 at her home, surrounded by her family, following a short illness. Resident of Lake Hopatcong for 22 years, moved here from Kenvil.
Mrs. Noble was born in Kingston, PA.
She worked as a Department Head at J.J. Newberry, Dover and retired in 1975 after 25 years.
She was avid crocheter and knitter. She also loved to play scrabble, dominoes, and board games. During her childhood, she was a member of the Hiking Club in Dover.
Survived by two daughters Ellie Singleton of Lake Hopatcong and Patricia Boyd and her husband Roy of Hackettstown.
Also survived by 4 grandchildren Terry, Bonnie, Michael, and Mary; 9 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-granddaughters and 2 nephews and 1 great-nephew. Predeceased by her husband Michael in 1969.
Visitation Friday, March 19th, 2010, 7 - 9 p.m. at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 20th, 2010, 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Locust Hill Cemetery, Dover.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Jefferson Rescue Squad, 827 Route 15 South, Lake Hopatcong, NJ 07849.
