Obituary of Joseph W. Cooper

Joseph W. Cooper, 76, of Landing, passed away Wednesday, November 20th, 2013 at home, following a long illness. Joseph was born in Stillwater and has been a resident of Landing since 1961. He formerly resided in West Orange. He worked as an Equipment Operator at NJ Dot, Netcong and retired in 1992 after over 40 years. He loved sports, hunting, fishing, flying and doing yard work. He was also a good mechanic. Survived by Judith, his wife of 55 years; two daughters Janice Castrovillari and her husband Mark of Landing and Jill Hughes and her husband David of Lake Tranquility. Also survived by four grandchildren Sarah, Brittany, Matthew, and Jesse and one nephew Paul and one niece Pat. Predeceased by his brother Charles and his parents Russell and Ruth Cooper.
