Mr. Gerald Scott Dock, 50, of Sparta passed away Sunday, February 28th, 2010 at Saint Clares Hospital, Denville. Resident of Sparta since 1990, formerly of Rockaway Township. Mr. Dock was born in Pittsburgh, PA. He was a self-employed painter, Painting Plus, in Sparta. He will be remembered for his great love for his children and his love of the outdoors and Nascar. Survived by his wife Iris; three children he adored Brandon, Christina, and Cassidy; his parents James P. Jr. and Barbara of PA; his grandparents James P. Sr. and Agnes; three sisters Kimberly Mutz and husband Brian, Robin Dawson and husband James both of PA, and Barbara Stopa and husband James of Wharton; brother James P. Dock III and wife Lupita of GA; also several nieces and nephews Michael, Patrick, Taylor, Casey, Zachory, Jamie, Megan, Ciara, Caleb, Daniela, Elaine Isabela, and Anthony; his mother-in-law Tina Brodie of Rockaway; sister-in-law Jacqueline Brodie of Sparta and his brother-in-law John Brodie of FL. Visitation Wednesday, March 3rd, 2010, 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 4th, 2010 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his name to a fund for his childrens college education care of Barbara Stopa, 12 Will Lane, Wharton, NJ 07885.
