Sylvester Foster, 79, of Rockaway Twp., passed away at home on Friday, December 30, 2016. He was born in Jamaica and resided in Middletown, NY before becoming a resident of Rockaway. Sylvester worked for AT&T as a Chauffeur for 27 years before retiring in 2004. He was a collector of antiques and loved to restore old Jukeboxes. He enjoyed putting out many of his bird feeders.
He is survived by Vinette, his loving wife of 52 years; three children Jean Barrett and her husband Erol of Randolph, Ian Foster and his wife Karen of MA and Juliet Foster of Jersey City; three grandchildren Timothy Foster, Richette Elmhorst and Kayla Barrett; ten great-grandchildren and two sisters Janice Gordon and Mavis Foster both of Jamaica.
Visitation Tuesday, January 3, 2017, 4:00-8:00PM with a service beginning at 7:30PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com). Interment is private.
