Obituary of Carlos Alberto Mena

Carlos Alberto Mena, 72, of Dover, passed away Thursday, December 22, 2016, at his home after a Long illness. Carlos was born in Tumaco, Colombia he was formerly of Cali, Colombia and was a resident of Dover for 49 years. He worked as a Handyman at Westinghouse Elevator Corp. and he retired in 2003 after 22 years. Carlos was a parishioner of Holy Rosary Church in Dover, and was a founder of Club Columbia Social Club in Dover. He donated a fire truck and water tank to his home town of Tumaco, Colombia. He was a devoted family man, who loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Luz of 49 years, his three sons Carlos E of Dover, Hector A. of Wellington, Fl. and Daniel and his wife Shanna of Jefferson. He is also survived by 6 Grandchildren Bianca, Austin, Dario, Brianna, Liam and Dagen, his three sisters and four brothers, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation Tuesday December 27, 2016 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM, at Tuttle Funeral Home 272 State Route 10 West Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com ) with a funeral service at 8:00 PM. Interment at Our Lady Queen of Peace Cemetery, Royal Palm Beach, Florida. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to America Cancer Society, Eastern Division, Inc., Attn: Memorial Processing Center, 6725 Lyons Street, P.O. Box 7, East Syracuse, NY 13057.
