Obituary of James P. Maitilasso

James P. Maitilasso, 55, Sparta resident, Denville native, son of the late Anthony and Grace (née Montesion), passed away on the morning of Wednesday, December 21, 2016 after a valiant battle with pancreatic cancer. He graduated from Morris Knolls High School in 1979. As well as having the reputation of being a great man, he will be remembered as a great father, husband, and friend. James lived life relentlessly; with unbounded love for his family and passion for his career. He had a love of fast cars, Giants football, and the creative spirit. James is survived by his beloved wife, Joanne (née Pirrello); son, Anthony; three step daughters, Nicole and her husband Bob, Danielle, and Michele; his siblings Anthony and his wife Marilyn, Frank and his wife Nancy, Mark and his wife Karen, Denise and her husband Dick, and many loving nieces, nephew. The viewing will be held on Monday, December 26 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 NJ 10 West, Randolph (ww.tuttlefh.com). The funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 27 at 10:30 a.m at Bethlehem Church, 758 NJ 10 West, Randolph, NJ.
