Obituary of Mary M. Fish

Mary M. (nee Mitchell) Fish, 75, of Rockaway Township passed away April 14, 2016 at Saint Clare’s Hospital, Denville. She was born November 20, 1940 in Newark. Mary was a graduate of Bayley-Ellard H.S. in Madison. She received a degree from St. Vincent’s Nursing School, Montclair, and an Associate’s Degree in finance from County College of Morris, Randolph. Mary retired from Warner-Lambert Company in Morris Plains where she was a Financial Analyst. Mary, an avid golfer, was a member Waterfront C.C. in Moneta, VA, where she won many awards. She was also an enthusiastic bowler, earning numerous trophies. Mary married Lawrence C. Fish of Dover in May, 1964; they were married 51 years. The couple has resided in Rockaway Twp. for the past 40 years. She is predeceased by her parents Augustus and Elizabeth, and her brother Thomas. Mary is survived by her loving husband Lawrence, a brother Augustus and his wife Margaret of Boonton; sisters-in-law Lorraine Heath of Ironia, Betty Dingman of Dover, Helen Belcher of Chester, Elsie(Sugar) Corby of Dover and her brother-in-law Robert A. Fish of Randolph. She is also survived by 19 nieces and nephews and 44 grand-nieces and nephews. A viewing will be held Sunday, April 17, 2016, 1:00PM-5:00 PM, at the Tuttle Funeral Home, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com). The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, April 18, 2016, at 10:00AM, at St. Clement Pope and Martyr Church, Rockaway (973)366-7095. Interment at Locust Hill Cemetery, Dover.
