Obituary of Evelyn McConnell Entwisle

Evelyn McConnell Entwisle, 86, of Randolph, passed away Monday, February 1st, 2016 at Compassionate Care Hospice, at Saint Clare’s Hospital, Dover. Evelyn was born in Orange, and has been a resident of Randolph since 1972. She formerly resided in East Orange. She worked as the Division Secretary at County College of Morris, Randolph, and retired in 1994. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church, Morristown, where she served as an Elder, sang in the Chancel Choir and was also an active member of Circle 12 for 25 years. She was a regular cook for Wednesday Chapel Services and an occasional cook for SCEEP Tutoring Program. She loved listening to classical music, especially opera and spending time at her vacation home with her grandsons in Maine. She is survived by her son Robert and his wife Jacqueline of Whitehouse Station and son William and his wife Margot and her grandsons Noah and Will of Sedgewick Maine, and grandson Sam of Seattle, WA. Predeceased by her husband David and her brother Howard McConnell. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, February 12, 2016, 10:30 AM, at the Presbyterian Church in Morristown, 973-538-1776. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Evelyn's memory to Compassionate Care Hospice, 400 West Blackwell Street, Dover, NJ 07801.
