Obituary of Bonnie Lou Garrison

Bonnie L. Garrison (Kettler), 81 of Hopatcong, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 17, 2024. Bonnie was born on November 9, 1942, in Wheeling, West Virginia. She is predeceased by her loving husband Patrick L. E. Garrison, parents Marie & Walter Henry Kettler Sr, sisters Shirley Stackhouse, Jo Ann Kettler, brother Willard, and stepson Robert S. Garrison, all of Wheeling, West Virginia.

           

Bonnie is survived by two daughters, Melissa (Michael) Jones of Concord, North Carolina, Stacey (Edward) Egner of Hopatcong, New Jersey, and stepson Patrick (Linda) Garrison of Chesapeake, Virginia. Seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and four siblings: Wayne, Walter, Marlene, and Karen.

           

After graduating Wheeling High School, Bonnie married Patrick, moved to New Jersey, and were married for 61 years. During that time Bonnie was very active in the ladies’ guild and served many roles at King of Kings Church in Mountain Lakes. Throughout her life, she enjoyed spending as much time as she could with her family and grandchildren. She was loved and will be missed by many.

          

Visitation will be held at Tuttle Funeral Home,  Randolph, New Jersey (Tuttlefh.com) on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 from 6-8 PM. Funeral Service on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at King of Kings Church, Mountain Lakes, NJ at 11:00 AM followed by private interment at Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Succasunna, NJ.
