Obituary of William J Rueppel

William J. "Bill" Rueppel, 69, of Ledgewood, NJ passed away on January 17, 2024, at Saint Clare’s Hospital in Denville.

Bill was born in Teaneck, NJ on February 12, 1954, the son of the late Doris Rueppel and Joseph W Rueppel.

In his early years the family lived in Bergenfield, NJ and later moved to Towaco, NJ where he graduated from Montville High School.

His love of cars led him into a career in the automotive industry.

Bill is survived by his devoted, loving partner, Virginia D Potuto.  Bill and Virginia have been committed to each other for 47 years.

Bill never turned down the chance to help whoever he could. He spent his free time listening to “oldies” music. He also enjoyed spending time cooking and gardening. He was a model train and historic railroad enthusiast. He enjoyed scenic train rides and dinner train excursions. He had a special interest in photography. He was an amazing storyteller.
