Obituary of Brian M Gormley

On Monday, December 25^th 2023, Brian Mark Gormley, a true family man passed away at age 61.

Brian passed away in his family home in Succasunna, New Jersey on the evening of Christmas Day after experiencing a heart attack and will be missed dearly.

Brian was born on February 18^th, 1962 to Patrick Gormley and Theresa Thomas and was raised alongside his three siblings; James Gormley, Anne Entwistle, and Jeanne Paradis in Bayside, Queens, New York. He is succeeded by his siblings and mother. He was a kind brother and son and his kindness extended into his relationship with others as well.

Succeeded by his wife, Dorothy Gormley, his two sons Patrick Gormley and Mark Gormley; Brian is remembered as a caring and dedicated father, a loving man, and a thoughtful husband. It is said that Brian always put his family first, even when that meant sacrificing his own needs and wants for the good of the family. He will be remembered by everyone who had the honor of meeting him as an honest, genuine, and hardworking man.

In his career, Brian was an engineer like no other. One that had such a unique way of thinking, problem solving, and explaining that every time he spoke he would quiet even the loudest of rooms as his peers and colleagues made sure to listen to every word and soak in his knowledge. He leaves a legacy that will carry through generations as his words and work live on in his memory.

Brian was beloved and respected by everyone he knew and will continue to be into the afterlife.
