Obituary of Robert P. Filippo

Robert P. Filippo, 64, of Towaco, passed away at the Hackensack University Medical Center on Saturday, December 19, 2015 after a long illness. Robert was born & raised in North Haledon and lived in Towaco since 1985. He was a Union Electrician with IBEW Local 102, he retired in 2013 after more than 45 years. Robert served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He loved hunting,fishing and traveling. He is survived by Jo Ann, his wife of 43 years; his three sons, Robert of Lower Mount Bethel, PA, Ryan and his wife Stacy of Bethlehem, PA and Joseph of Lower Mount Bethel, PA; two grandchildren, Taylor and Rylan; his parents, Peter and Marie Filippo of Riverdale: his sister, Kathy Reed of Rockaway and five nieces and nephews. The memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 from 4pm to 8pm at Tuttle Funeral Home in Randolph (www.Tuttlefh.com). The Memorial Service will be on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at 11:30am also at the funeral home. Interment is private.
