Obituary of Baji N. Kapadia

Baji N. Kapadia of Rockaway, passed away on Friday, August, 14 2015 at his home, after a long illness. He was 88 years old. Baji was born in Mumbai, India, he was a resident of Rockaway for the last 12 years, and previously he had resided in Sydney, Australia. Baji was a Commercial Pilot, working for Singapore Airlines, retiring in 1987 after working 35 years as a pilot. He enjoyed reading, classical music and playing tennis. He was a very social person and loved spending time with his friends and family. He is survived by 2 sons: Cyrus Kapadia and his wife Maria of Morristown and Sam Kapadia and his wife Joyce of Ossining, NY, his 4 grandchildren: Sabrina, Xerxes, Julian and Alanna, and his brother: Farokh Kapadia of Montreal, Canada. A visitation will be held on Sunday, August 16, 2015 from 11:00AM to 2:00PM at Tuttle Funeral Home in Randolph (www.Tuttlefh.com). Interment will be private.
