Obituary of Lida Rosalyn Gabriel

Lida Rosalyn Gabriel, 69, of Rockaway Township, passed away Thursday, May 14th, 2015 at Saint Clare's Hospital, Denville. Lida was born in Union City and she has been a resident of Rockaway Township since 1983. She formerly resided in Bergenfield. She worked as a Teacher's Assistant for the Rockaway Township Board of Education, Rockaway Township, and retired in 2009 after 20 years. She loved entertaining, the theater and shopping for her granddaughter. She was a member of many local community theaters as well as the theater program at the school where she worked. She is survived by Lawrence, her husband of 38 years; daughter Larissa Shuman and her husband Benjamin of East Hanover and her granddaughter Lilah Rose. She is also survived by two brothers Renard Petronzio and his wife Marie of Cherry Hill and Arno Petronzio and his wife Amy of Edison; two sisters Lotus Petronzio of Cliffside Park, Palma Willms and her husband Raymond of Leonia, sister-in-law Andrea Miller and her husband Stephen of Wappingers Falls, NY and several nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents Anthony and Rosalie Petronzio. Visitation Monday, May 18, 2015, 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (tuttlefh.com). Funeral Services will also be on Monday, 2:00 PM at the Restland Memorial Park Chapel, East Hanover. Entombment will follow the service.
