Angeline "Ann" E. Claps, 97, of Denville, passed away at home, Sunday, February 22nd, 2015 following a short illness. Angeline was born in New York City, NY and has been a resident of Denville since 2005. She formerly resided in Monroe Township. She worked as a Flight Supervisor for Stewardesses at Pan American, New York and retired in 1988 after 40 years. She volunteered at Saint Clare's Hospital in Denville and at Princeton Hospital in Monroe Township. She enjoyed traveling, sewing and especially spending time with her family. Survived by her son Dr. Richard Claps and his wife Valerie of Morristown, three grandchildren Michelle, Jennifer and Gregory, four great-grandchildren Abby, Walt, Emily and Casey. Also survived by her brother James Angerame of Ft. Myers, FL and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Ciro in 2005. Visitation Thursday, February 26, 2015, 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (tuttlefh.com). Funeral Mass Friday, February 27, 2015, 10:00 AM at St. Catherine of Siena R.C. Church, Mountain Lakes. Entombment to follow at St. John's Cemetery, Queens, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to a charity of your choice.
