James Howard Ahokas, 63, of Denville, passed away suddenly, Wednesday, January 28th, 2015 at Morristown Medical Center, Morristown. James was born in the Bronx, NY and has been a resident of Denville since 2011. He formerly resided in Montville. He was a member of the Chinese Christian Church of New Jersey, Parsippany. He worked as an Assistant Vice-President of IT at Credit Suisse, NY, NY. and retired in 2009 after 26 years. He was a member of the Boy Scouts of America Troop #240 of Riverdale, NY. He had his own Podcast with International Listeners. He was expatriate working with Credit Suisse in Asia, including Hong Kong, Singapore and Tokyo. Survived by Debbie, his loving wife of 25 years, daughter Jennifer Ahokas of NY, NY, son Michael of Hong Kong, and his sister Janet Betz and husband Stephen of Mexico City, Mexico. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation Friday, January 30, 2015, 3:00 - 5:00 PM and 7:00 - 9:00 PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com). Memorial Service Saturday, January 31, 2015, 9:30 AM at the Chinese Christian Church of New Jersey, 232 South Beverwyck Road, Parsippany, NJ (973) 335-0183. In lieu of flowers donations are requested in his memory to the American Cancer Society, Eastern Division, Inc., Attn: Memorial Processing Center 6725 Lyons Street, P.O. Box 7 East Syracuse, NY 13057.
