Obituary of Rose Yazwinski

Rose Yazwinski, age 93, of Randolph passed away Sunday, January 25, 2015. She was born in Bayonne, NJ in 1921 and was a resident of Randolph since 1979. She was the daughter of late George and Nellie Olenchuk. Rose was formerly a member of the Randolph Township Senior Citizens and the Randolph Township Woman’s Club. She was a past president of the Washington School PTA (Bayonne, NJ) and is a life member of the New Jersey Congress of Parents and Teachers Association. Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Andrew Yazwinski, daughter Nancy Michalewsky, great grandson Noah Passero, brother Major General Peter Olenchuk and two sister in laws Ann and Ruth Olenchuk. Rose is survived by her son Andrew Yazwinski and his wife Roberta, son in law Ronald Michalewsky, her six grandchildren Wendy Passero and her husband Daniel, Daniel Yazwinski, Jean Knapp and her husband Michael, Craig Michalewsky and his wife Cindy, Scott Michalewsky and his wife Suzanne, Kristen Youssef and her husband Andrew, nine great grandchildren, Kaylee and Corey Knapp, Kelly and Ava Yazwinski, Nicholas Passero, Andrew and Megan Michalewsky, Leah Youssef, Alexandra Michalewsky and her brother Daniel Olenchuk. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 9:30AM at Resurrection Parish, Randolph. Visitation Friday, January 30, 2015 from 4:00PM – 8:00PM at Tuttle Funeral home, 272 Route 10 Randolph (Tuttlefh.com). Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. In lieu of flowers please consider donations to the Randolph Soccer Club in support of the Nancy Michalewsky Memorial Scholarship. Checks should be made out to the Randolph Soccer Club and mailed to Randolph Soccer Club, PO Box 504, Mt. Freedom, NJ 07970. Please indicate the donation is for the Nancy Michalewsky Memorial Scholarship.
