Obituary of Adolph Fodali

Adolph Fodali Jr., 82, of Lake Hiawatha, passed away Wednesday, February 23rd, 2011 at Troy-Hills Nursing Home, Parsippany-Troy Hills, following a long illness. Adolph was born in Newark and is a resident of Lake Hiawatha, moved here from Newark. He served in the U.S. Army. He worked as an Automotive Specialist - Research & Development at S & G Tool & Die, Newark and retired in 1994 after 38 years. Adolph was a member of the Musicians Guild #16 AFM, Newark. He was an extremely talented guitar player and played with bands located out of the Newark area. Also member of the Train Collector Association. Survived by his son Randolph and wife Kathy of Randolph, his daughter Lucille Izzo and husband Al of Andover. Also survived by four grandchildren Maria, Rocky, Anthony and Michael Fodali. Predeceased by his wife Angelina in 1978 and his parents Adolph and Lucy. Visitation Sunday, February 27th, 2011, 1 - 5 P.M. at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com). Funeral Mass will be held at St. Therese R.C. Church, 151 Main Street, Succasunna, at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, February 28th, 2011. (973-584-8271) Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested in his memory to Juvenille Diabetes, 26 Broadway, 14th Floor, New York,, NY 10004 (www.jdrf.org).
