Obituary of Catharine T. DeShazo

Catharine T. DeShazo, 95, of Dover, passed away on Saturday March 25, 2017 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Morristown, and has been a resident of Dover for 70 years, formerly of Rockaway. She was a member of the Dover Senior Citizen Club, the Sacred Heart Leisure Club, Dover Historical Society and the Shepherds of Bethlehem. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and traveling with her late husband in their RV. She loved her four legged grandchildren Cagney, Lacey and Hank. She is survived by her son Thomas DeShazo, Jr. and his wife Ellen, of Millsboro, DE; daughter Cathy and her husband Michael Picciallo, of Dover; five grandchildren Thomas R DeShazo III and his wife Colleen, Raime and her husband Travis Miller, James DeShazo and his wife Lisa, Jeffery Kupke and his wife Brianne and Daniel Kupke; eight great grandchildren Christopher Fanning, Thomas R DeShazo IV, Elizabeth DeShazo, Phoebe DeShazo, Dorothy DeShazo, Ellen Miller, Ryan Miller and James DeShazo. She is predeceased by her husband Thomas R. DeShazo, Sr., in 1999 and her siblings Dorothy Monka, Ruth Moon, Gladys Poulos and Leroy Jeffery Visitation Wednesday, March 29, 2017, 3:00-5:00 PM and 7:00-9:00 PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com). Funeral Service Thursday, March 30, 2017, 10:00 AM, also at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Locust Hill Cemetery, Dover.
