Obituary of Panagiotis Pittas

Panagiotis Pittas, 62, of Dover, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday, April 3, 2024. He was born in Eleftheriani, Greece to George and Vasiliki Pittas. At the age of 5, the family moved to Dover where he attended grade school. He graduated high school in Athens, Greece and went on to get a bachelor’s degree at Drew University and a master’s degree of Science from NJIT.

 

Apart from his academics, Panagiotis was a caring son, brother, uncle, and friend. He touched the lives of all who knew him, not only with his knowledge, but with his kindness and generosity. He loved everyone in his life and will be remembered for his devotion to his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

 

Panagiotis leaves behind his mother Vasiliki Pittas, brother Nickolas Pittas, sister-in-law Evangelia Pittas and two nieces Vasiliki and Georgia Pittas. He is predeceased by his father George Pittas.

 

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, from 5:30-8:30 PM, at Tuttle Funeral Home, Randolph. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at 10:00AM, at St. Andrew Greek Orthodox Church.

 

Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Wharton.

 

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to St. Andrew Greek Orthodox Church.
