Obituary of John R. Tironi

A Funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Church, Dover at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 12th, 2010 Mr. John R. Tironi, 85, passed away after a short illness, Thursday, January 7th, 2010 at Care One at Madison Avenue, Morristown. He was a longtime resident of Dover. Mr. Tironi was born in Rockaway. He served in the U.S. Army in WW II. He worked as a Factory Worker at L. E. Carpenter in Wharton for 20 years. Survived by his son John J. and wife Cindy of Netcong, two grandchildren Steven and John, his brother Ben Tironi of Mt. Bethel, PA and two sisters Rena L. Benjamin of Rockaway and Mary Chilcott of Elmwood, IL. Predeceased by his wife Dorothy and brother Condido. Visitation Monday, January 11th, 2010, 3 - 5 & 7 - 9 p.m. at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph. (www.tuttlefh.com). A Funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Church, Dover at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 12th, 2010. Interment will follow at Locust Hill Cemetery, Dover.
