To the family of Mike Pendrak:
Please accept my most sincere condolences on the passing of "Coach Pendrak".
We entered Morris Knolls together in 1964. Me a lowly freshman and he an imposing English teacher.
As I got to know him through classes and the track team, I realized he was a great guy whom one could always approach with confidence and honesty.
Though I haven't seen him in 50+ years we did keep touch sporadically via social media. He always asked about my health, family, and career.
I know he will be missed greatly by all.
Once again please accept my most sincere prayers and condolences on "Coach Pendraks" passing.
Sincerely
Gary Hermann

I met Michael when I started to work as a realtor and we quickly became good colleagues. We discussed various things and most of all fishing and soccer. He loved to discuss his grandkids and their sport activities. One of few fond memories with Michael was my outing to Budd Lake trying to catch a tiger musky and my other great memory is one particular day one bad day in my first year of real estate after my phone call I exploded with frustration in the conference room by myself. He noticed my frustration and came by me and he said “when it comes to business, it is nothing personal but don’t be cold hearted and don’t beat yourself up over it. “It doesn’t matter how good you are at your skill… never lose your humanity.” “You are going to make a great realtor young man, but never lose your humanity.” He actually repeated that twice. In my walk as a realtor, that reminder means a lot. It still does almost ten years later. At the same time, he would also tell me to: “Go all out and make that buck. Money is good and to get money you need to be skilled at what you do”. I had my big “Y” but his words of wisdom and encouragement to be better hit a different note. Michael was a gentleman and a scholar.
Watch over us Michael. My Mentor. My Friend.

who we are:
Tuttle Funeral home was designed as a funeral home by funeral home architects and designers. Unllike many funeral homes that were originally old homes and then were converted into funeral homes.
Though it was designed as a funeral home, it still provides the warm comforting feeling of a home, but with more space and an open feeling.
