Obituary of Patricia A. Powers

Patricia A. Powers, Pat or Patsy known to many, 78, passed away peacefully with her family in mind. Pat left for a heavenly celebration on March 17th, 2022, a holiday she cherished hosting many years with her family. Patricia leaves behind her loving husband of 60 years, Stuart Thomas Powers, and four beloved children, Shirley A. Bauer, Catherine M. Powers, Brian T. Powers, and Renee B. Powers. Along with her human children, she will be missed dearly by her Newfoundland dogs, Tinker Bear and Missy. She was often seen walking one or two dogs around her neighborhood. Pat was a grandmother of two, Christine A. Bauer and Carl A. Powers.  Along with her husband and children, she is survived by extended family in New Jersey, South Carolina, Colorado, and Vermont.

She was predeceased by her parents, John and Gladys, and her sister, Gladys.

Pat worked at an appraisal company after her children had grown, until her retirement. Prior to that, she spent her years moving around the States, living on military bases, with her husband and children, finally making their last home in Mine Hill, NJ.  She enjoyed gardening, hosting the holidays, and spending her time with family and friends. She looked forward to spending time at the Jersey shore whenever possible. Fond memories include going to local farms, lakes, and amusement parks with her grandchildren and cruising with her husband. Over the years, Pat led a fun filled and fulfilling life with her family and friends.

A viewing will be held on Sunday, March 20th between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM, at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 RT 10 Randolph, NJ (www.tuttlefh.com). A private interment will follow.
