Obituary of Julie A Szatkowski

Julie Szatkowski of Randolph, passed away on January 19, 2022, after a brief illness. She was born in the Mt. Hope section of Rockaway Twp. in 1928. Her parents were the late Charles and Helen Durda. Shortly after her marriage to George Szatkowski in 1950, she relocated to Randolph Twp.

Prior to being a homemaker Julie was a secretary for Nelson Hughson Insurance / Real Estate and in later years she sold Avon and Popular club plan. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church in Dover and very active in the Mother’s Guild while her sons attended grammar school there.

She was predeceased by her husband George, in 1999 and her siblings Andrew Lengyel, John Lengyel, Mary Ursta, Helen Grabovetz, Anna Deveraux, Margaret Charella, Sophia Sheplak and infant sons Francis and John.

She is survived by her sons George Jr. of Randolph, Alan (Patricia) of Roxbury and Michael of Pennsylvania, also surviving are her three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Funeral Mass 10:00 AM on Thursday, January 27, 2022, at Resurrection Parish, Randolph.

Interment Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Randolph.
