Obituary of Mara Jovanovski

Mara Jovanovski, 93, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 7, 2021.  She was born on February 2, 1928 in Velushina, Macedonia.  Daughter of late Angele and Tasa Apostolovski.  Beloved wife of the late Risto, whom she married November 9, 1947. 

Mara came to the United States in 1963 and worked until she was 68 years old.  Her gentle ways and kind heart will be remembered by all.

Mara was the loving mother of Donna Strharsky ( Joe) and Paul Jovanovski;  proud grandmother of Natalie (Jason) Krut, Lisa (Dave) Faraone and Lindsey.  She was very proud of her 5 great grandchildren: Alexander, Brenda, Caleb, Sebastian and Siena. She is also survived by her sister Bona of Australia and many nieces and nephews in Macedonia, Australia, Canada, and United States.  She is predeceased by her brother, Peco, and her sister, Zojka.

Visitation will be held at Tuttle Funeral Home, Randolph, NJ (Tuttlefh.com) on Sunday, November 14, 2021 from 3:00PM to 6:00PM.

Funeral Service 10:00AM  at Saint George Macedonian Orthodox Monastery, 185 Center Grove Rd., Randolph, NJ on Monday, November 15, 2021.  Interment at First Presbyterian Cemetery in Succasunna, NJ.

In lieu of flowers memorial gift may be made in her name to:  St. Kiril & Metodij Macedonian Church, 1050 Pompton Ave., Cedar Grove, NJ 07009, or Good Samaritan Hospice, 146 Neely School Rd., Wexford, PA 15090.
