Obituary of Joan J Sherwood

Joan J. Sherwood, 76, of Randolph, passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2021, at St. Clare’s Hospital, Denville. She was born in Brooklyn, NY and was a resident of Rockaway Township for 43 years.

Joan worked as an Administrative Assistant for Picatinny Arsenal, Rockaway, for many years until her retirement in 1995. After retirement Joan spent her time doing what she enjoyed, watching children.  She loved her family, reading, slot machines and going shopping and to lunch with her Circle Drive friends.

She is survived by two sisters Geraldine Restivo of Randolph and Nina Parris of Williamstown; nephew Scott Parris; niece Lisa Parris; grandniece Gianna Taylor; grandnephews Ryan and Andrew Parris. She is predeceased by her son Michael Sherwood in 2019.

Memorial Visitation Sunday, November 14, 2021, 1:00-5:00PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, Randolph, with a service beginning at 4:30PM.
