Richard Doswell, 98, of Randolph, passed away Tuesday, May 12th, 2015 at Morristown Memorial Hospital, Morristown. Richard was born in East Orange and has been a resident of Randolph since 1948.
He was in the field artillery in Morristown before serving as a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Army Air Corp during WWII. He worked as a Plumber for Plumbers Local #24 Lodi. He was a member of the Morris Plains VFW Post #3401. He is survived by his son Richard F. and daughter Kristina Doswell; three grandchildren Kevin, Dr. Brandy Thomas and Dr. Trisha Doswell and five great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his son Matthew and wife Hilda. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a cancer society of your choice.
