Harry F. Tappen, Jr., 81, of Randolph, passed away at his home on Friday, September 7, 2018. Harry was born in Dover and has been a resident of Randolph for 50 years. He worked in Market Research for Warner Lambert, Morris Plains for 35 years before his retirement.

Harry loved his family and friends. He enjoyed golf and his annual summer trips to Maine for the last 60 years. He was a Villanova alumni and avid fan. While his children were young he coached basketball and baseball and was the president of the Lakeland Youth Basketball for 15 years.

He is survived by Harriet, his wife of 58 years; four children Harry and his wife Linda of Sparta, Denise of Denver, Diane and John McCann of East Hanover and Darren and his wife Candice of Phoenix; five grandchildren Heather, Michael, Jessica, Derek and Dean; siblings Ann Endahl of Morris Plains and Richard and his wife Shiela of Morris Township. He is predeceased by his brother Tom.

Visitation Monday, September 10, 2018, 4:00-8:00PM at Tuttle

Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com). Funeral Mass Tuesday, September 11, 2018, 10:00AM at Resurrection Parish, Randolph. Interment is private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to a charity of your choice.
