Obituary of Geraldine "Gerry" Longo

Geraldine “Gerry” Longo (nee DiGasper,) passed into eternal rest on Sunday, March 11, 2018.  She was born in Orange, grew up in Kearny, attended Kearny High School, graduated from St. Mary’s School of Nursing, and later became co-owner of Don Longo Inc.  She lived in Florham Park and Meyersville before moving to Chester 39 years ago.  She enjoyed basketball, cruises, skiing and traveling.  Gerry was a member at Budd Lake Chapel and a long-time member of the Italian-American Heritage Club of Hunterdon County.

She is survived by Don her loving husband of 57 years; a sister, Jeannette (Bobbie), and five children.  She also leaves six grandchildren and one great-grandchild, as well as a host of other relatives and dear friends

Visitors will be received on Thursday, March 15 from 4-8PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com).  Funeral service will be Friday, March 16, 10AM at Bethlehem Church, 758 Route 10, Randolph. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or Budd Lake Chapel.
