Wednesday, July 8th 2009 Service 10:30 A.M Thomas Gizas Thomas Gizas, 92, of Dover passed away Friday, July 3, 2009 at Morristown Memorial Hospital. Mr. Gizas has been a resident of Dover since he moved here from Greece in 1967. He retired in 1984 for The Howmet Corp. in Dover where he worked as a machine operator. He had served with the Greek Army during World War II. He has been a member of St. Andrews Greek Orthodox Church in Randolph for many years. He is survived by his five children John and his wife Antonia of Rockaway Twp., Sofia Savramis and husband George of Dover., Tim and wife Stella of Parsippany, Helen Gizas of Dover, and Charles and wife Lisa of Dover. His two sisters Labrini Staikos and Andrianna Patsaouras both of Greece. Also are surviving are eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at St. Andrews Greek Orthodox Church, 1447 Sussex Tpk Randolph, at 10:30 A.M. on Wednesday, July 8th, 2009. Interment will follow at Locust Hill Cemetery, Dover Visitation Tuesday, July 7th, 2009, 3 - 5 & 7 - 9 P.M. at the funeral home, 272 RT. 10 West Randolph, NJ 07869 (www.tuttlefh.com) In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to be made in his memory to St. Andrews Greek Orthodox Church, at the above address.
