Obituary of Pearce E. George

Pearce E. George, 68, of Rockaway passed away after a short illness on Thursday September 6, 2012. He was born in Irvington and lived most of his life in Rockaway. Mr. Pearce was a Driver for Bestway Trucking Service in Fairfield for over ten years until his retirement.
Pearce was and active member of A.A. and was sober 21 years. He was an avid fisherman and hunter.
Survivors include his four children Robin, P. Edward, Jr., Jennifer, and Andrew. Also survived by his mother Anne George, three grandchildren, a great granddaughter, two sisters and a brother. In lieu of flowers please contact Jennifer George at 973-590-9982.
