Leon Pras, 97, of Randolph Township, passed away Sunday, September 2, 2012 at Morristown Medical Center, Morristown following a short illness. Mr. Pras was born in Newark and has been a resident of Randolph Township for over 60 years.
Mr. Pras was a member of the Randolph Township Senior Citizens. He was employed as a Plant Manager at Schiffenhaus Bros., Newark until retiring in 1976.
Mr. Pras is survived by his 3 children: Robert Pras of Colts Neck, David Pras of Aripeka, FL, and Kathy Kirby of Prarie Home, MO; his 5 grandchildren: Andrew, Allison, Caleen, Margaret and David; 7 great grandchildren; and his brother Chester Price of Forked River. He is predeceased by his wife Helen in 1977 and his son Leon Jr. in 2004.
Visitation will be held Friday, September 7, 2012 at 12:00-1:00 PM at Tuttle Funeral Home 272 Route 10 Randolph, www.tuttlefh.com. A funeral service will follow at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Somerset Hills Memorial Park, Basking Ridge.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Leon’s memory to a charity of your choice
