Obituary of Chester F. Smith

Chester F. Smith, Jr., 71, of Parsippany, passed away Thursday, August 30th, 2012 at Kindred Hospital at Saint Clares Hospital, Dover, following a short illness. Mr. Smith was born in East Orange and has been a resident of Parsippany for over 35 years. He was a member of the Bethlehem Church, Randolph. He earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic and also his Masters Degree in Nutrition. He was a self-employed Chiropractor at Lets Be Healthy Center for Chiropractic and Nutrition, Parsippany. Mr. Smith was a member of The Gideons and the Parsippany Rotary Club. He also led various bible studies throughout Morris County over the years. Survived by his daughter Darcy Kallus and husband Craig of PA; his brother Kenneth of Newton and three grandchildren Zachary, Zoe and Audrey. Also survived by two nieces Heather and Laurinda. Predeceased by his wife Nancy in 2010. Memorial Visitation Wednesday, September 5, 2012, 4 - 6 PM at Bethlehem Church, 758 State Highway 10, Randolph (973-366-3434). Memorial Service to follow at 6:00 PM also at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested in his name to The Gideons, PO Box 25, Succasunna, NJ 07876.
