Obituary of John D. Holmes

John D. Holmes, 59, of Montague, passed away Sunday, June 17th, 2012 at Troy-Hills Center, Parsippany. John was born in Princeton and has been a resident of Montague since 2004. Formerly of Budd Lake for many years and Stony Brook, LI where he grewup. He was a self-employed motorcycle mechanic. John operated a British Motorcycle Restoration and Repair Shop in Budd Lake for many years before moving to Montague in 2004. He was also past president of the British Riders Motorcycle Club. John's wit, sense of humor and culinary skills will be missed by all who knew him. Survived by two sons Joshua of Budd Lake and Christopher of CA; his daughter Holly Stansbury of VA; brother Charlie of MD and two sisters Susie of PA and Lisa Murphy of NY State. Also survived by three grandchildren Jackson, Rachel, and Ricky. Visitation Friday, June 22nd, 2012, 3 - 5 & 7 - 9 PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com).
