Obituary of Deacon Kenneth R. Weaver

Deacon Kenneth R. Weaver, 78, of Randolph, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2017, after a short illness, at Morristown Medical Center. Deacon Kenneth was born in Nutley, and has resided in Randolph since 1976. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He worked as a Director of Quality Control at Amide Pharmaceutical New Jersey, He retired in 2000 after more than 30 years in the industry. Deacon Kenneth was a member of the American Society of Quality Control. He served 20 years as a Deacon at Resurrection Parish in Randolph. He was very Involved with the Marriage Encounter. He loved Jazz Music and was a member of the Jazz Society, he was also an avid Photographer. Deacon Kenneth is survived by his son Rich of Randolph, his daughter Debbie Acevedo and her husband Joe of Randolph, three Grandchildren Craig, Tassie & Marisa, two Great Grandchildren Johannah and Jackson and his god daughter Ilsy Benitez of Randolph. He is predeceased by his wife Arlene in 2013. Visitation Friday, February 17, 2017 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM & 7:00 PM - 9:00PM with a Sung E vening Prayer 8:00PM at Resurrection Parish in Randolph. Funeral Mass 10:00 AM on Saturday, February 18, 2017 also at Resurrection Parish, Randolph Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.
