A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary's R.C. Church, Nutley at 11:00 a.m. Mr. Richard Scheder, 74, of Belleville passed away Monday, December 7th, 2009 at Morristown Memorial Hospital, Morristown. Resident of Belleville since 1962. Mr. Scheder was born in Irvington. He was a Parishioner of St. Mary's R.C. Church, Nutley. He worked as a Computer Programmer at Prudential Insurance Company, Roseland and retired in 1994 after 44 years. He served in the Air National Guard and was a member of several bowling leagues in the Belleville-Clifton area for many years. Survived by four daughters; Debbie Napolitano and Larry of Great Meadows, Cindy DeForge and Greg of Tuckerton, Karen Tensfeldt and Don of Randolph and Dianna Scheder of Old Bridge; his sister Leona Ellis of FL. and his brother William of Washington State. Also survived by eight grandchildren Robert, Nicole, Chelsea, Ryan, Matthew, Travis, Veronica, & Jessica. Predeceased by his wife Anita in 1988. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary's R.C. Church, 17 Monsignor Owen's Place, Nutley, 07110. 973-235-1100 at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 11th, 2009. Interment will follow at Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield. Visitation Thursday, December 10, 2009, 3 - 5 & 7 - 9 p.m. at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph.
