Obituary of Vincent William Miller

A funeral mass will be held Saturday, November 21, 2009, 10 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Flanders Vincent William Miller, Sr., 71, of Succasunna passed away on Monday, November 16, 2009 at Morristown Memorial Hospital, Morristown surrounded by his family. Vinnie was born and raised in Newark before settling in Succasunna where he spent most of his life. He was a Maintenance Mechanic at Honeywell (formerly Allied-Signal) for many years before retiring in 2003. Mr. Miller was an avid New York Yankees fan and enjoyed his time in Atlantic City and Florida. Mr. Miller was very active in the Roxbury Little League for many years and a member of the Hanover Bow Rod and Reel and Gun Club. He is survived by his wife Mary Ann (Carrick) Miller of fifty years, his children, Vincent Jr. and his wife Cathie of Succasunna and his daughter Lisa Conigliari of Succasunna, and by his six grandchildren who were the light of his life; Brandon, Ryan, Justin, Nicholas, Allegra and V.J.. He is also survived by a brother, Fred Miller and sister and brother-in-law Pat and Leo Stagg, sister-in-laws Doris Carrick Bono, Jo and Frank Corbo and Judy and Adrian VanSeters and many loving nieces and nephews. Vinnie's family would like to thank the doctors and staff in the Emergency Room and ICU at Morristown Memorial Hospital for their care, compassion and friendship that was offered his family during this critical situation. A funeral mass will be held Saturday, November 21, 2009, 10 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Flanders (973-927-1629). Visitation Friday, November 20, 2009, 4 - 8 p.m. at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com) Interment will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover. Donations are requested in his memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
