Obituary of Jerry J. Russo

Jerry J. Russo, 82, of Randolph, passed away on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at Morristown Medical Center, Morristown. He was born and raised in Kearny prior to residing in Randolph.

Jerry was the Coordinator of Guidance at Parsippany High School where he from retired in 2002. He was a Varsity Soccer Coach at Parsippany, Chatham and County College of Morris and was awarded Coach of the Year in 1979, 1981 and 1985. He also was State Champion in 1983 and Northern Soccer Champion in 1986. He was involved in the Ski Club. Jerry played softball and was MVP at a Senior Olympics. He loved cars and was an avid sports fan.

He is survived by Melody, his wife of 46 years; daughter Tara Russo of Essex Fells and many other loving family members.

Visitation Tuesday, October 10, 2017 2:00-4:00PM & 6:00-8:00PM, at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com). Funeral Mass Wednesday, October 11, 2017, 10:00 AM at Resurrection Parish, Randolph. Interment is Private.
