Edward V. Rucki Jr., 94, passed away suddenly on Monday, September 18, 2017, at Saint Clare’s Hospital, Dover. He was born in Newark and has been a resident of Denville since 1949.  Edward served in the U.S. Navy during WWII on the USS Lexington, going to many reunions, and he was honored for his service by Morris County.

Edward was an Electrician with R.C.A in Rockaway, and he enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his family and wonderful neighbors he was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.  He is survived by Beatrice his wife they were just three days short of their 71st Anniversary; his three children Nancy D’Andrea and her husband Nick of Tampa, Fl. Ronald of Biloxi, MS, and Robin Miller and her husband Brian of Rockaway; his beloved granddaughter Kellie and her Fiancé Robert Kern and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside Services Thursday, September 21, 2017, 2:00 PM, at The Shelter, Brig. General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Providence Line Road, Wrightstown, NJ 08562.  All arrangements by Tuttle Funeral Home, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com).
