Obituary of Mario Carrero

Mario Carrero, 69, of Dover, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Morristown Memorial Hospital.  He was born in Añasco, Puerto Rico to Felix Carrero and Maria Bonilla. He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years Rosa (Ruiz) Carrero; his four children: daughter Rosemar Traverso, (husband Santiago) Jennifer Carrero, (husband Clemente Ibarra) Marvin Carrero (wife Janellie) and Denisce Carrero; four grandchildren-Jazlyn, Shayla, Sergio and Tyeler; siblings- Gloria, Jose, David, Hiran, Manuel, Carmen, and Papo all residing in Puerto Rico; as well as many nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was a devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, mentor in the lives of his loved ones.
Mario served in the U.S. Army and worked as a clerk at AT&T for several years and is the proud co-founder of Happy Couple Cleaning Services.  He was the founder and former President of the Legion of Mary and taught catechism for many years at Holy Rosary Church.  He dedicated his time to helping others and administering communion to the sick. 
Visitation will be held at Tuttle Funeral Home, Randolph Twp. (Tuttlefh.com) on Tuesday July 25, 2017 from 2:00PM - 4:00PM and 6:00PM – 8:00PM.  Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart Church, Dover on Wednesday July 26, 2017 at 10:30AM.  Interment at Locust Hill Cemetery, Dover.
