Obituary of Araceli "Sally" Schenkman

Araceli “Sally” Schenkman, 55 of Randolph, passed away, Sunday, May 21, 2017, at Overlook Medical Center, Summit.

Sally was born in Cebu, Philippines, and was a resident of Pittsburgh and Connecticut before residing in Randolph.

She loved being a Registered Nurse for 33 years. Sally began her career at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, where she met her husband, Joshua. She later worked for Yale New Haven Hospital, CT. For the past 18 years, she compassionately cared for thousands of patients while working for Morristown Medical Center. Sally enjoyed outdoor activities, especially hiking. She swam every day at the Randolph YMCA. Sally was best known for her bright smile and ability to touch the lives of others. She held her family close to her heart and she was so proud of her two children. Sally’s philanthropic nature lives on through organ and tissue donation.

Remembering Sally is her husband, Joshua, of 29 years; son, Jacob, daughter, Hanna; brother, Jerry; her in-laws, Beverlee and Joel Schenkman; and many other loving family members and friends.

Memorial Service Wednesday, May 24, 2017 4:00-5:00PM with a visitation from 5:00-8:00PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com).
