Friday June 26, 2009 10:00 A.M Mass FREDERICK TAYLOR AGE: 96 MORRIS Mr. Frederick Taylor, 96, of Morris Township, passed away Sunday, June 21, 2009 at Morris View Healthcare Center, Morris Township. Resident of Dover and Rockaway Township most of his life, moved here from Paris, Texas. Mr. Taylor was born in Paris, Texas. He was a Parishioner of Sacred Heart Church, Dover. He worked as a Machinist at Stapling Machine Company, Rockaway, and retired in 1978 after 50 years. He also worked for Fred's Fish Market in Dover for many years. Former member of Engine Co. #2 of Dover Fire Department. Member of the Dover Fire Department Exempt Firemens Association and NJ Exempt Firemens Association. Member of the Dover Lodge of Elks #782. He also volunteered at Saint Clares Hospital in Denville from 1953 - 1995. Survived by his brother, Joseph of Dover; granddaughter, Lori Hiller of Arizona; many great-grandchildren; a couple of great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his wife, Gladys in 1986 and his son, Frederick in 1995. A Funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Church, Dover on Friday, June 26, at 10:00 a.m. Visitation Thursday, June 25, 3 - 5 & 7 - 9 p.m. at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph. Interment at Locust Hill Cemetery, Dover. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to N.J. Firemen's Home, 565 Lathrop Avenue, Boonton, NJ 07005.
