Ann Stevens Kays October 1, 1955- March 30, 2017 Ann passed away peacefully at the age of 61 with her loving family at her side. Born and raised in Verona, NJ by Phyllis and John Stevens, she graduated from Verona High School in 1973 and then attended Ithaca College. She married Jeffrey Kays on May 3, 1980 and lived in Wharton until moving to Roxbury in 1990 where she raised three children, Christopher, Robert, and Katie. Ann devoted her life to her family and friends, always friendly and helpful to anybody in need. Ann worked in the Roxbury School system and was well known for always having a smile and optimistic attitude about everything and everyone. She was always positive even through her long illness. Ann is survived by her husband of 37 years, Jeffrey Kays; three children, Christopher, 28, Robert, 26, and Katie, 22, and Cosmo, 19; Mother, Phyllis Stevens; and brothers, Rick and Mark Stevens. She was predeceased by her father, John Stevens. A service will be held at Tuttle Funeral Home 272 Rt. 10 in Randolph on Thursday April 6 from 3-5 and 7-9 P.M. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Ann’s name to the Oncology & Hematology Foundation at 23 Pocono Road, suite 100 Denville, NJ 07834. Contributions help ensure continuity of care to patients in need.
