Obituary of Alfonse V. Crisitello

Alfonse Victor “Sonny” Crisitello, age 80, died at the Gilchrist Hospice Care Center in Towson, MD on Sunday Oct 31st 2010 from complications with his struggle with cancer. He was born in Newark, NJ on Oct 28, 1930. Son of Ann Carpentieri and Anthony Crisitello, he was the youngest of 12 siblings. He lived most of his life in Newark, NJ until he married his wife Jeanette on April 28, 1967 and moved to Lake Hopatcong, NJ where he and his wife had 2 sons, Anthony and Darrin. He worked most of his life as a truck driver in Port Newark for various trucking companies including Woolyhan and St. Johnsbury. He enjoyed the Yankees, watching his grandchildren and spending time at the Jersey shore, where he was quite possibly the best crab fisherman ever. He is survived by his wife Jeanette, son Anthony, his wife Nadine and two grandchildren Sabina and Michael as well as son Darrin, his wife Renee and two grandchildren Nicoletta and Carmella. Visitation Wednesday, November 3rd, 2010, 6:00PM – 8:00PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (tuttlefh.com). A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home Thursday, November 4th, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Restland Memoral Park, East Hanover.
