Friday March 20, 2009 3-5 & 7-9 pm David L. Berry Mr. David L. Berry, 82, of Denville passed away Tuesday, March 17th, 2009 at home following a long illness. He was a resident of Denville for 2 years. Moved here from Morristown where he resided since 1976. Mr. Berry was born in Cleveland, Ohio. He served in the U.S. Army in WW II. He received a Purple Heart. He was employed as Vice President at Metz Metallurgical, South Plainfield. He retired in 1976 after 14 years. He received his B.S. in engineering at Carnegie Institute of Technology (Carnegie-Mellon University) in Pittsburgh. He also owned Advanced Metallurgy in McKeesport, PA. He was a house member of the Springbrook Country Club in Morristown. He is survived by Natalie, his wife of 60 years. Three sons: Michael K. of Bethesda, MD., Timothy H. of Cheshire, CT., Daniel S. and his wife Linda of Randolph. Four grandchildren: Christopher, Alisha, Caitlin & Colin. He is also survived by two brothers Kevin Berry & Edward Berry both of Concord, CA Visitation on Friday, March 20, 2009 from 3-5 & 7-9 PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com). Funeral services are private. In lieu of flowers donations are requested in his memory to: The Carol G. Simon Cancer Center, 100 Madison Avenue, Box 110, Morristown, NJ 07962.
