Sunday March 15, 2009 6:00PM Eva I. Murray 85, Beloved Auntie Randolph- Eva I. Murray departed on Thursday, March 12,2009 at Compassionate Care Hospice at St. Clares Hospital in Dover. She was 85.She was born in Person County ,NC., and lived in East Elmhurst,NY. before moving to Randolph six years ago. She was a graduate (1942) of Mary Potter High School in Granville County, NC, later in her adult life she graduated from Hofstra University in Hempstead ,NY with a degree in Liberal Arts. She was a member of Saint Marks AME Church in Flushing,NY. Eva was married to the late Bruce L. Murray for 51 yearss and was preceded in death by him in 2006. She leaves to cherish her memory a special Niece/Caregiver Carolyn Smith of Randolph, a sister Ila M. Bass (Willie Lee) a brother William G. Bullock(Lutrell) and sister-in-law Ora Mae Bullock all of Oxford, NC., great niece Felicia Smith, great nephews Keith Smith and Allen Gordon of Dover,NJ, and a host of nieces and nephews and other family members. A funeral service will be held on Sunday March 15, at 6:00pm at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 Route 10 West, Randolph,NJ. Hours of visitation will be prior to the funeral service from 4-6pm at the funeral home.
